Années Folles: Crazy Years and Crazy Cults on the Continent
Prof. Julius Smith
a heavy set Englishman, a scholar devouted now entirely to research
Prof. Julius Smith is famed for his whiskers and great curling mustache that gives him the air of a friendly walrus. His disgusting preference in tobaccos, his erudite after dinner, and his hearty laugh are trademarks. Dr. Smith has traveled extensively on the Continent. His specialties are European languages and archaeology. Now his attentions have shifted to matters parapsychological, to great result. These days, his only companion is his manservant Beddows, who is at once friend, assistant, and confidant.
